To say Isaiah had the time of his life, is probably the understatement of the year. We had to carry him out kicking and screaming. Literally.
And I just have to say: I really couldn't love our theme months more. Not only do I love the structure that they provide me as a Mommy, but I love how much Isaiah is learning. As we move on to each new month, our past activities and memories are far from forgotten. He brings his passion from all the past themes along through each new month. And that, is so rewarding to see.
In fact, just yesterday he asked if we could take the "fishies swimming" again.
But now, it's time to move onto the next! We've officially started our theme for March (more on that tomorrow)!

Do you plan your themes around big events like this that you can use to cap off the month, or do you just go with something that your son is interested in (or you think he would be interested in)?
Zarah, it varies. I try to pick themes I think he'd be interested in, things he'd enjoy learning about, and then I consider the month, the weather, and any holidays coming up. Hope that helps!
